Signal SMP ("we", "us") runs the Minecraft server at signalsmp.com and this store. We are an independent community server. We are not an official Minecraft product and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Mojang AB or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. By checking out you confirm this is the case and that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
3. What you are buying
Everything sold here is a virtual item for use only on the Signal SMP Minecraft server: ranks, rank subscriptions, crate keys and similar perks. These items have no monetary value outside the server, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred, sold or gifted to another account except where the store offers gifting. You receive a limited, revocable, non transferable licence to use the item on our server, not ownership of it.
Perks attached to a rank or item are described on the store page at the time of purchase. We may adjust, rebalance, rename or remove perks over time to keep the server fair and working. Where a perk is removed we will try to offer something of similar value, but we do not guarantee that any particular perk will exist forever.
4. Delivery
Purchases are delivered automatically to the Minecraft username you entered at checkout, usually within a few minutes and at most within 15 minutes of a successful payment. If you are offline, the item is applied on your next login. If your purchase has not arrived after 15 minutes, contact us on Discord or at support@signalsmp.com with your order ID and we will sort it out.
Check your username carefully. You are responsible for entering the correct username and edition (Java or Bedrock). We cannot move items that were delivered to a wrongly entered account, and a purchase delivered to the username you supplied counts as delivered.
5. Subscriptions
Monthly ranks are subscriptions billed automatically each month through PayNow until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the PayNow customer portal linked in your receipt email. Cancelling stops future charges; your rank stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Lifetime ranks are one time purchases that last for as long as the server operates.
6. Refund policy
Because purchases are digital items delivered immediately, all sales are final and non refundable once the item has been delivered, except where a refund is required by law or where we choose to offer one. We will refund or replace a purchase that was never delivered because of an error on our side. Refunds are not given because you were banned, because you stopped playing, because a perk was changed, or because the server reset or closed.
Your payment is processed by PayNow Services, Inc. Their Buyer Agreement also applies to every purchase.
7. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you believe there is a problem with a charge, contact us first and we will work with you to resolve it. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without contacting us, or for an item that was delivered as described, is treated as fraud. In that case we may remove every item you have purchased, permanently ban every account connected to the purchase from the server and the store, and pass the details to PayNow. You remain liable for any fees the dispute causes us.
8. Server rules and bans
Buying a rank or item does not exempt you from the server rules, which are available in game and on Discord. Staff may warn, mute, kick or ban any account that breaks the rules, cheats, exploits bugs, evades punishments or harms the community, whether or not that account has made purchases. A ban does not entitle you to a refund. We may also refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, in which case any payment taken will be returned.
9. Availability and changes to the server
We do our best to keep Signal SMP online, but we do not guarantee uptime. The server may go down for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. Worlds may be reset and the server may change, merge or close at any time. Purchased ranks carry over across map resets where possible, but in game items, money and builds are not guaranteed to survive a reset and are not covered by any purchase.
10. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your Minecraft and Discord accounts secure. Purchases made from your account are your responsibility. Do not share, sell or trade accounts that hold purchases; we may revoke items on accounts we believe have been transferred or compromised.
11. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location and are collected by PayNow. We may change prices at any time; changes do not affect orders already paid for, but do apply to future subscription renewals after notice.
12. Content and conduct
The name Signal SMP, our logo, and the design and text of this website belong to us. Skins and heads shown on the site come from the public Minecraft profile of the username you enter. You agree not to attack, overload, scrape or attempt to exploit this website, its checkout or the server.
13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The website, store and server are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the server or store, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited, including consumer rights that apply in your country.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Material changes will be announced on Discord. Continued use of the server or store after a change means you accept the new terms.
